New ICC members on the way?
Three more European countries could be set to join the ICC if their applications are approved at the ICC’s annual meeting in Dubai at the end of June. Bulgaria, Estonia and Turkey are the three countries applying.

Guernsey to host WCL Division Five warm-ups
Guernsey will be playing Nepal and the Bahamas as the two teams prepare for the World Cricket League Division Five tournament in Jersey at the end of May. More here.

Guernsey win Twenty20 inter-insular
Guernsey have beaten Jersey by five wickets in the inaugural Twenty20 inter-insular in front of a great crowd of between 1,000 and 1,200.

Guernsey to host Netherlands A
The Guernsey Cricket Board has announced that they are to host the Netherlands A team in May. Three matches will be played from the 23rd to the 25th at KGV, the island’s top ground.
A sponsor has been secured for the series, and they will provide a trophy for the winners.

Million pound boost for Guernsey
Cricket in Guernsey has received a big boost with the construction of a £1million indoor cricket centre. The centre will form part of the Hougue du Pommier complex, already the home of indoor bowls and table tennis on the island.

Inter insular Twenty20 on the way
Guernsey and Jersey have been playing the inter insular match for many years now. Next year, the 50 over match will be joined for the first time by a Twenty20 match, to take place on the same day as the Lord’s Taverners match between Glamorgan and another English county at the end of September.
