Guernsey win Twenty20 inter-insular
Guernsey have beaten Jersey by five wickets in the inaugural Twenty20 inter-insular in front of a great crowd of between 1,000 and 1,200.

Jersey win another tournament
Jersey confirmed themselves as an up and coming European side with another youth tournament win today. They beat France in the final of the European Under-23 2nd Division championship, to add to their title in the Under-19 equivalent last month.

WCL Division Five expanded
Originally an eight-team event, WCL Division Five has been expanded to twelve teams. The Bahamas, Germany and Mozambique have been added, with a second EAP qualifier to come from a tournament later this year.

Jersey news
On the heels of their recent win over Italy, Jersey played a match against English minor county Norfolk yesterday, winning by one run. A full report on that can be found on the BBC’s Jersey website here.

Jersey touring Italy
Jersey will be touring Italy at the end of March to play a three-match series against the national side. They need to win at least one match to be able to have their application for associate membership heard at the ICC’s meeting in June.

According to an ECC media release, Jersey and Vanuatu have applied for associate membership of the ICC. Inter insular Twenty20 on the way
