Cricinfo reports that Kenya’s two ODI’s against South Africa are back on, but in November as opposed to the originally scheduled May and the rescheduled June.

Scots lose to Durham
Scotland have failed to continue their form after beating Lancashire on Monday and lost to Durham in Edinburgh today. Durham batted first and scored 181/9 from their 50 overs. A few batsmen got a start, but none went onto post a decent score.

Kenya - top ODI team in 2007.
In terms of win percentage the top ODI team for 2007, ignoring the Asia XI, is none other than Kenya, with a 76.47% win record, as opposed to Australia’s 73.33%. Whilst obviously Kenya have not been playing the same opponents as Australia, it is still an impressive achievement.

Kenya have beaten Bermuda by eight wickets in Nairobi to go top of the Intercontinental table with maximum points from their two games. Bermuda are left languishing at the foot of the table with precisely zero points from their three games.

Odoyo steals the show
With Kenya looking to be heading for defeat ion the first ODI against Canada, it needed a show of brilliance from someone to turn the game around. And they got exactly that from Thomas Odoyo, who clubbed 111 from 113 balls to help Kenya win by six wickets after being reduced to 49/5.

Car-jacked and beaten up, but he still shows up.
Nick Deverell reports over at CricketEurope that Kenya’s Jimmy Kamade was car-jacked and beaten up just two days before helping Kenya beat Canada in the Intercontinental Cup. Just shows why cricket is one of the greatest sports. A professional soccer player would probably gone home crying and taken 2 months off for emotional distress.
