Poonia in the runs again
Scotland’s Navdeep Poonia has followed his maiden first-class century by hitting a 48 ball fifty for Warwickshire against Cambridge UCCE today. Fellow Scottish international Calum MacLeod is also playing for Warwickshire in this match, and he picked up his first first-class wicket when he trapped Thomas Hemingway LBW.
Niall O’Brien is also playing in Northamptonshire’s County Championship match against Leicestershire which began today, though his team have not yet batted.

Ryan Bishop, a South African who kept wicket and opened the batting for Guernsey against Jersey in the 2007 annual inter-island match after playing the 2007 season in Guernsey, made his first-class debut for Cardiff UCCE against Northants last week and on Saturday scored an unbeaten 93 off 120 balls in the drawn game after coming in at number 8.

Thanks for the update David, though I should point out that Cardiff UCCE’s games aren’t first-class.

No. The ones played by Cardiff UCCE and Bradford/Leeds UCCE aren’t first-class. I have no idea why.
